Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has designed three special study programs for the systematic study and practice of Kadampa Buddhism that are especially suited to our modern world: The General Program, the Foundation Program, and the Teacher Training Program. These study programs serve to develop our wisdom, unfold our good heart, and maintain a peaceful mind.
Foundation Programme
Foundation Program
Tuesdays, 19:00-21:00pm
The weekly Foundation Program (FP) offers the opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of Buddhism. In an open-minded group, it offers the framework to become familiar with Buddhist philosophy through teachings and group discussions. It includes the following five topics based on the Sutra teachings of Buddha and the accompanying commentaries by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche beruhen.

The Study Books
The GP includes the following five topics based on the Sutra teachings of Buddha and the accompanying commentaries by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

The purpose of the Teacher Training Program is to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism through a thorough presentation of selected Mahayana Buddhist topics, and to train as qualified teachers of the New Kadampa Tradition. All Teachers of the Kadampa Buddhist Centers participate in this intensive program of study and practice.

Condition of participation
